DEVELOPING GOOD HABITS

We believe that good habits start early in life and introducing a child to a dentist at an early age can give them a great start and a positive attitude towards dental health. In most cases, the first dental visit should be around 2-3 years of age, unless there are concerns prior.  Routine check-ups help ensure that their teeth are developing and erupting correctly, kept clean and are free from cavities.  Fissure sealants are often used, once their permanent molars erupt, to prevent caries (decay) from developing in fissures.

We offer bulk billed Medicare Child Dental Benefits Scheme for eligible patients aged 2 – 17 years.  For further information about the Child Dental Benefits Scheme, call our friendly staff on (03) 9729 6648.
